a gift from two families at Synagogue
Ohabei Shalom, Brookline, Massachusetts.
Rabbi Emily Lipof delivered the Torah to
Milan, along with donors James and Eric
Friedman-Poli who participated, along with
dozens of Lev Chadash members and
friends in a Hakafot procession at the
dedication ceremony.

del Sud in Calabria, Rabbi Barbara serves
the progressive Jewish community of
Turin in northern Italy. Congregation Or
Chadash recently held a Purim
celebration in conjunction with a
weekend-long Shabbaton. Members and
students from all over Italy Boo'ed and
Hiss'ed Haman during the Purim festival,
observed Kabbalat Shabbat and studied
the history and mitzvot of Purim and
Pesach as well.
